"Something In The Way She Moo's Me" is the first in my bovine series. She helped me develop my abstract realism. I enjoyed adding the different oil colors and watching how they blended when joined. Adding color over color and scraping into the oil paint making areas of interest while retaining the integrity of the cow. I didn’t want this painting to end so this was the beginning of my little family, aka the bovine collection. 
 
I used a palette knife on her body, a brush on the background and I thinned and dripped oil paint over the glazed background.
