Cowsanov is a companion piece to join “Something in the way she mooo’s me”. He clearly needed to be masculine but colorful. I think I accomplished that. I used a palette knife to create the body detail texture. 
 
As I finished the vibrant yellow oil glaze background, I felt he still needed something more, so I literally threw color at him. To create the splatter effect highlights, I mix water soluble oil paint and water on my palate. When it reaches the right consistency, I fling, fling,fling away! I enjoy this so much I have to hold myself back from doing more.
