This is the first painting of I've done with swimming figures in water. I don’t usually have the human form in my work. Also, the style of this painting was intentionally similar to a work by Jennifer Hannaford. This wonderful friend and artist taught me how she painted water themed scenes. She sent me her reference photos and spent time daily, long distance, teaching me. It was an experience I won’t forget.
