I love to paint birds especially Ravens. My favorite part is their face/head section. I feel that is when I bring them to life. When i lived in California there many Ravens sitting in the palm trees chattering away. I fell in love with them and their expressive voices.
 
‘After Midnight’ was made with palette knife for the Raven body and fingerpainting for the background. I could have used a brush but my hands lead me another way.
 
Intuition ofen overrides my original plans…
